For any who are looking to engage the missional church conversation, I have compiled a bibliography of the main contributors that I am aware of. Each title listed also carries a link to the Amazon page for easy access to further information. I have by no means read all of these listed here and they are certainly not all in agreement with each other. The first work listed, edited by Darrell Guder, is generally regarded as the work that kicked off the movement. Alan Roxburgh and Craig Van Gelder are two of the four contributors to that volume. The second work listed, The Missional Church in Perspective, is a follow-up to the first offering clarification and revision. Though there are many more books that outline the theological and theoretical foundations of the missional church I have tried to focus attention on the practical – those that suggest ways of transforming into and functioning as a missional church.
